Telx, a leading provider of global interconnectivity, data center solutions, and cloud enablement services, today announced that it has partnered with NewCloud Networks—a national cloud computing and communications provider—to join the Telx Cloud Xchange ecosystem in Telx’s NYC1 facility.
Headquartered in Denver, NewCloud Networks specializes in providing hybrid cloud, cloud backup, cloud disaster recovery (DRaaS), desktops as a service (DaaS), and cloud hosted PBX to its 2,500+ customers across the United States.
NewCloud selected Telx’s NCY1 facility to further optimize its ultra-low-latency national cloud network. The new cloud hub deployed at Telx’s NYC1 data center will be NewCloud’s first on the East Coast, serving as a critical element in the company’s national operations and a cornerstone for cloud solutions delivery to Northeast customers.
John Freimuth, general manager of Telx, noted that “Our customers are growing rapidly and demand the highest levels of agility, performance, and security. NewCloud’s compliant, best-of-breed infrastructure addresses these demands by providing direct connect access via seamless private network extension to fully managed backup and disaster recovery services, cloud desktops services, and on-demand compute and storage resources.”
